OVERAL!?! - Ever since the truth fiasco, Jac has an incredible difficulty with trusting anyone but herself. She finds comfort in being alone and isn’t particularly interested in making friendships. Where she would like to go back to her foster parents, she knows that she could never, not without being willing to throw away her pride. For the most part, Jac finds people to be very annoying and road blocks to where one wants to go in life. She is bitter and fickle and doesn’t take much stock in anything someone might promise to her.
Despite her… dislike of people, Jac’s ability is of empathy. She prides herself in being able to manipulate people into feeling a certain way. It makes her job as an agent incredibly easy in comparison to someone who might have something silly and trivial like a sonic scream. Jac is quick with her tongue and fairly cunning, always using her look of innocence to deceive people into thinking she’s dumber or more childlike than what she really is.

OVERAL!?! - There are no other words than to describe the small Jac as anything other than a fairy princess. Standing at five feet, seven inches, she has a slight frame and is delicately proportioned. Jac has long, strait, sunny blonde hair and a dazzling pair of cerulean eyes. Jac doesn’t look her age… as a matter of fact, she looks half her age, but acts as if she’s seen everything the world could possibly throw at her. She likes to dress herself in things that were recent to walk the runway. Jac has been known to strut; she carries herself very proud. Without an ounce of self-consciousness, you will never find her second-guessing herself or with an ounce of shame.

FATHER!?! - Caleb Tarango, 34, auto mechanic

FINALLY!?! - It’s a classic tale. Jac was the product of an accidental teenage pregnancy. Caleb and Savannah, after a night of carelessness, had a child on their hands. Without any income, and both with futures ahead of them, it wasn’t even in the question to keep the baby. The couple, after going through the adoption process, had chosen for it to remain a closed adoption. Best to carry on as if the poor child never existed while the infertile couple could finally have a child for their own.
Up until a few months ago, Jac lived a fairly normal life. She loved her parents and her parents loved her. As an only child, she was spoiled and pampered but remained independent and studious. Everything was perfect. Nearly. Jac had just received the cure and she couldn’t be happier. No more being absent from school from the constant of viruses that preyed on her immune system. People had always questioned whether or not her parents really were her parents. The couple didn’t look particularly like her but Jac felt no need to ask. They were honest, true people. They would’ve told her.
After being cured, Jac noticed she could easier tell someone’s emotions. She didn’t think much of it. Just recently, the trio acquired a new next-door neighbor. Out of kindness, they invited her over for dinner. There was much idle chatter and small talk. Not much of Jac’s cup of tea. So she sat silently, pretending as if she was having a grand time, when really she’d much rather be texting a friend of hers about the recent high school drama. Somehow the conversation floated over to adoptions and, so often as it does, the question arose – of course, without any intent on being offensive, “Is Jacqueline adopted.” And then came the common answer, with an odd smile, “No, no she’s not. But don’t feel bad, everyone asks that.” But. But there was remorse, and shame, in her father. Jac picked up on it right away. Visibly, he was telling the truth, but on the inside, it was a lie. A bitter lie. It all crashed down upon Jac at that very moment. She had been living a lie. The perfection of her life was a sham. Nothing more than a simple pretense that had been kept for so long. Not knowing what else to do after being so fed up with the situation, Jac did the only logical thing an emotional teenager would do: run away. While away for the few days, she was picked up by an Alticor agent, unknowing of what she might be getting herself into. The second she found out she was lined up to be tested on; she took the only option out. Ever since then, she hasn’t spoken to her adoptive parents. With too much of a pride, she can’t stand to even pick up the phone and call them.
