[ INSIDE ]
who you really are...
Personality: Parker is, in a word, fearless. Well, at least on the outside she is. She's bold, outgoing, not afraid to speak her mind, and can't say no to a challenge. She's the kind of girl who could take on the world, and if you had to put money on it, you just might say she'd win.
Parker is ultimately a people person. There's definitely people who she doesn't like, and she isn't shy about voicing it, but she gets along with most people she meets, and tries to at least understand those who she doesn't get along with.
That being said, she's the kind of person who hates being disliked. She knows full well that she's a little too opinionated for her own good, and that half of what she says has potential to piss people off, , but she doesn't like it all the same. She fears being hated, or being an outcast, and under her usually-charming bravado, is actually quite self-conscious, though she tries her hardest not to let anyone know that.
It's probably because of her fears that she's such a sucker for underdogs, and was usually the one to stick up for the bullied kids in school.
After all of that, what Parker really cares about the most is fun. Whether she's out with her friends, or just hanging around her apartment, if she's not having a good time, it's a waste of time. She's always up for just about anything, so boredom is rarely an issue, though cabin fever sets in quickly in the winter.
Above all else, Parker tries not to take anything in life too seriously- no one gets out alive anyway.

History: Parker's dad left when she was seven, shortly after her brother, Chase's, first birthday. From then on, she didn't see much of either parent, aside from the goodnight kiss and sundays off with her mom, and the occasional birthday or holiday visit from her dad.
She spent a lot of her time helping raise and take care of Chase, and when she was younger, it was a lot of fun for her; it was like playing house. But as they got older, when she hit her teens and Chase was old enough to be left home alone, she'd start sneaking out at night. Despite the bad connotations, she wasn't out drinking or doing drugs, but sneaking into R-rated movies and clubs definitely made the list.
Parker managed to do fairly well in school, in spite of her weekend shenanigans, and by the time she turned fifteen, she knew what she wanted to do with her life. With a history back to kindergarten, she went to college for a major in performing arts and minors in set, costume, and makeup design.
Just a year out of school, Parker practically lives at the Callaway, as the theater always manages to find a use for all her studying.

Adrianna was furious. She was beyond furious, she was- she was so angry she didn't even have a word for it. She swept through the house like a miniature tornado, flying down the hall and storming up both flights of stairs, throwing the door open without pause.
Rose looked up at her from her threadbare bed with wide, mournful eyes, fear and surprise both long gone from her expression. Maybe they're finally going to kill me. She thought, trying to retain her apathy, but failing as a tiny glimmer of pathetic hope seeped in.
"Don't you play clueless with me, you stupid bitch!" Adrianna hissed, shoving Rose off her bed. "We know." A self-satisfied smirk lit her face for a moment- whatever was going to happen, they were going to have the upper hand. "So..." she asked, twirling her wand with affectated boredom, "How many are there?"
Rose looked up, even more bewildered than before. "H-how many what?" she asked quietly.
The rage back in her eyes, Adrianna kicked Rose sharply in the ribs. "How many people, you idiot!"
Rose didn't bother righting herself, letting Adrianna's kick throw her over, slumped against her bed. She coughed twice, her diaphragm now a bit worse for wear. "I have no idea what you're talking about." she groaned, dreading whatever her punishment for not knowing would be. It turned out to be another kick.
"A group of students is on their way to this house, right now. How many are there, and how did you contact them?" She pointed her wand between Rose's eyes, crouching down to be at eye-level with her.
"I didn't contact anybody, I swear." Rose whispered, cringing at the cool pressure of her tormentor's wand.
With a swift kick to the girl's shins, Adrianna stood back up. "Crucio!" She sneered, watching as Rose writhed on the floor, her hoarse shrieks of pain just as good as the first time she'd heard them. She cackled delightedly before letting up on the curse. She kneeled beside the panting child, brushing a piece of matted black hair from her eyes. "Now, my lovely, don't lie to me."
"I'm not lying!" Rose whimpered, still shaking from the torture curse.
Adrianna's eyes turned cold again, "My daughter is on her way to save your worthless skin. Tell me, how would she know where to find you?"
"Y-your daughter?" Rose asked, trying to imagine this woman being a parent, or who on earth she knew who could possibly have come from someone so awful.
"Delilah." Adrianna spat the name like a bad taste in her mouth.
Rose nearly choked. "Delilah?" her eyes started to well up with tears at the sound of her friend's name, not to mention the fact that she was supposedly coming to save her from this nightmare-gone-wrong. "You're Delilah's mom?"
"That thing has not been my child since the day she was bitten." She said in a detached voice, which quickly turned to a soft croon as she resumed stroking Rose's dirty hair. "Your mother doesn't know how lucky she is, not to have a monster bear her name. But then," she grinned wickedly, "Your mommy's crazy, isn't she?"
"DON'T TALK ABOUT MY MOM LIKE THAT!" Rose shrieked, "You have no idea what she's been through." she sniffled, her tears starting to spill over as the gentle hands on her turned to vise-like grips on her arms.
"Is mommy coming to save you too?" Adrianna leered down at her. "It doesn't matter what you know. It doesn't matter what any of you know. I'm going to put you somewhere where they'll never find you." The smile on her face made Rose's stomach flip with nausea.
And with that, she seized one of Rose's wrists, dragging her out of the tiny room she'd been kept in for so long. Rose winced each time the corner of a wooden stair smashed against her body, each time she was knocked against a wall as she was dragged through the house.
She heard deadbolts sliding, keys clicking in locks, and the scrape of a door against the hardwood floor.
A smell, damp and musty, tinged with iron, with something that smelled burnt and wet at the same time, and the awful smell like something rotting seeped through the air, and a wave of fear washed over her.
"No!" she wailed, writhing in protest as she tried to pull herself away from the door, "No! Don't make me go back down there! Please!" She started sobbing as memories came, unbidden, of her first day in this nightmare. Of the dungeon.
Adrianna merely smiled, dragging her down these stairs as carelessly as she had the rest. At the bottom, she was hauled across the grimy ground before being thrown into a far back corner that was enclosed on three sides, like a shower stall in a locker room.
"Now, I think it's time you learn a lesson, my dear." Adrianna smiled sickeningly down at her, aimed her wand, and then- "Crucio!" she shrieked, laughing mirthlessly as Rose turned over and over, screaming.
Adrianna whirled, looking for something to use besides her wand. She picked up a curved knife from the table across the room, running a finger along the blade. She stared, daze-like, at the scarlet droplet that had beaded on her fingertip for a moment before shaking it off and turning her attention back to Rose. "Bell always does keep her playthings nice and tidy." With that same smile, she brushed Rose's hair aside and ran the point of the dagger down the back of Rose's neck, eliciting a pained groan from her. "Don't want you to die just yet, princess." Adrianna whispered, "You have to realize what you've done." She cut across the backs of Rose's wrists, along her palms, from her knees to her ankles. She smiled as she watched the blood pool on the ground. "If you live through this," she smiled, "You'll never tell other people's secrets again, now will you?"
She wiped the blade off on her jeans and set it back on the table. "Crucio! she called over her shoulder, and listened to the sobbing that resulted.
She barely made it back in time to admire her work before the dungeon door flew open and the clatter of footsteps on the stairs interrupted her curse.
"Mrs. Jeggard!" a voice rang out from the base of the stairs, quickly proceeded by the new girl skidding around the corner. One look at Rosalynde, and the color drained from her face. She swallowed nervously and turned back to Adrianna. "Mrs. Jeggard, they need you upstairs." she said, her voice tinged with urgency.
Adrianna sighed, casing a glance from Rose to the stairs. She looked at the new girl for a moment before shrugging. "Do with her what you will." She shook her head, walking away. "Oh, Rosie-poo, I almost forgot!" she stopped, turning back around, "Sectumsempra." she laughed, walking up the stairs. "For Merlin's sake, don't forget to lock up when you're done!"
As the door slammed shut, Riley fell to her knees beside her cousin. "Rose, she whispered, tears forming in her eyes as she struggled to pull her limp and bleeding body into her lap, cradling her like a small child. "Rose, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." she sobbed, hugging her tightly.
Rose blinked wearily up at her, confusion seeping momentarily through her pain as she tried to make sense of what she was seeing. "R... Riley? What are... What are you doing here?" She inhaled shakily, every inch of her body screaming with pain. Riley was opening her mouth to speak when consciousness finally escaped Rose and the world slipped into silent blackness.
Riley stood up unsteadily, wiping at her tears with bloodstained hands. She muttered a few quick words, and bricks formed over the open side of the little cubby Rose was in. She watched as the bricks closed her in, and turned away, not saying the spells that would hide the clumsy magic and effectively seal the brick prison.
"I'm sorry." she whispered. And then she ran.[/quote]
